It's sad but true, the United States' health care system is broken.  Pres. Obama did his best to fix it, but the Affordable Care Act just didn't do enough.

There are about 700,000 medical bankruptcies in the U.S. each year. Annually, there are zero medical bankruptcies in Britain, France, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, or Switzerland.

Similarly, looking at these same countries, we spend 250% MORE on health care per capita than Britain. In a study of health care systems of 11 industrialized countries, the United States was ranked last while Britain was ranked first.

While CEOs like Stephen Hemsley at United Health make 20.1 million a year, 1 in 6 mothers in the U.S. are uninsured.  41.5% of those mothers claim it is the high cost of health insurance that prevents them from getting coverage.
